The 30+ Main Weapons of Phantom Blade Zero

How acquisition, upgrades, new forms and reforging actually work.

Quick answer: Phantom Blade Zero has more than 30 main weapons (confirmed at the August 2026 State of Play). You carry two at once and swap between them mid-combat. Named weapon list, damage values and upgrade trees are not yet public — they will be documented here with verified data on launch day (Oct 29).

How you get weapons OFFICIAL

Main weapons are wrested from defeated foes rather than bought from a shop — the enemies you beat define the arsenal you build. This makes loadout planning part of exploration: which weapons you can assemble depends on which bosses and elites you've conquered.

Upgrades and new forms OFFICIAL

Each weapon is upgradeable, and upgrading unlocks new forms — not just bigger numbers but changed behavior. A weapon's evolved form can alter its moveset, which means "which form of weapon X" is a real build decision, not only "which weapon".

Reforging: no wasted materials OFFICIAL

The Reforging Talisman returns every material you invested in a weapon. There is no permanent upgrade trap: you can experiment freely, then pull materials out and re-invest when your loadout changes. This is why our future comparison tool treats materials as liquid, not sunk cost.

Why no tier list? Several sites already rank Phantom Blade Zero weapons S through C — for a game that has not released. No human has swung these weapons. Our tier list arrives only after we can measure them.

Plan your loadout

Two mains + two Phantom Edges make up your four slots. Once stats are public, this site's loadout planner will let you assemble and compare setups — until then, see the system overview.
